It’s showtime at The Cove!
Camp Crescent Cove campers perform in one large musical production each 3.5 week session and in One Act plays every week. The plays are produced on our beautiful indoor and outdoor lighted stages and they generate enthusiasm and excitement throughout the entire camp.
Musical productions in recent summers have included some favorites: The Jungle Book, Seussical, Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Annie, High School Musical 2
Theater classes include improvisation, mime, stage makeup, lighting, set design, and more! Dances are choreographed by Camp Crescent Cove staff members for each production.
Every week Camp Crescent Cove heads down the hill for a camp-wide campfire silhouetted by Maine’s beautiful sunsets over the mountains and Crescent Lake. Campers and Counselors put on skits, sing songs, and tell jokes. Everyone gets involved and enjoys the playful skits!
